Hi, I'm Erin a local treat maker. My story began as a young teenager preparing meals just because I love to cook. Like most children you hate to hear your parents call your name, why? Of course, they want you to do something. When my mom would cook she would always call me in the kitchen to cook the cornbread or make devil eggs. At the time, I didn't understand she was preparing me to be able to cook for my own family one day. Growing up in the kitchen introduced me to a wide variety of utensils, dishes, and recipes, While cooking there's one thing my mom always told me, "If you're not going to do it right, don't do it at all." Till this very day I repeat that process. I'm not perfect and I do not try to be, but I do strive for excellence on every thing I touch.

I have always been the sibling to do the most cooking in my family. The movie "Soul Food' that was produced in 1997 inspired me to have my own family gatherings. I cook more now since I am married with children, but if I do not cook on any other day Sunday will be a throw down. 

 

 I was inspired to open my own business by my children. They love sweets. My boys know that before I purchase something sweet out the store, I will attempt it at home first. Many of my attempted treats turned out to be disasters, but now no one can resist a CEM treat.
